Flexible PCB
Flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) is a highly reliable and excellent flexible printed circuit board made of polyimide or polyester film. It can be freely bent, rolled, folded, light in weight, thin in thickness and small in size. It can be arbitrarily arranged according to the requirements of the space layout, and can be moved and retracted arbitrarily in three-dimensional space, so as to achieve the integration of component assembly and wire connection. The design of the flexible and rigid PCB also makes up for the slight deficiency of the flexible substrate in the component carrying capacity to a certain extent.

Single-sided flexible board
low cost. Usually, the electrical performance requirements are not high. If single-sided wiring is considered, a single-sided flexible board should be selected. This most common form has found commercial applications such as inkjet cartridges for printers and memory for computers. The single-sided flexible board has a layer of chemically etched circuit patterns, and the conductive pattern layer on the surface of the flexible insulating substrate can be selected from rolled copper foil or rolled copper foil. The insulating substrate used for flexible assembly can be polyimide (Kapton), polyethylene terephthalate (PET).
Double-sided flexible board
Double-sided flexible circuit board is a conductive circuit made by etching two layers of copper foil on the PI substrate, on the top and bottom layers. The metallized holes connect the patterns on both sides of the insulating material to form conduction, so as to meet the design and use function of flexibility. The cover film protects single and double-sided circuit layers and indicates where components are mounted.
Multilayer flexible board
The multi-layer flexible board is to laminate three or more layers of single-sided flexible circuit boards or double-sided flexible circuit boards together, and form metallized holes for connection and conduction through drilling and electroplating. In this way, no complicated welding process is required. When designing the layout, in order to ensure the convenience of assembly, the interaction of assembly size, number of layers and flexibility should be considered.
